With its Business Unit Mining, ThyssenKrupp Fördertechnik has acquired a global reputation for high-quality open pit mining systems and equipment. Operating continuously, large bucket wheel excavators, spreaders and belt conveyors can handle up to 240,000 m³ of overburden per day. But also for lower volumes or specialized jobs, e.g. involving hard materials, all machines are perfectly matched and tailored to the requirements of the mine.

Continuous mining equipment is powered exclusively by electricity.
