Crushing Plants

ThyssenKrupp Fördertechnik engineers made an important contribution to one of the most significant improvements in hardrock open pit mining, the conversion from discontinuous, cost-intensive material transportation by mining trucks to continuous, more economical transportation by belt conveyor systems.

Utilizing several decades of crushing technology, ThyssenKrupp Fördertechnik is today one of the most experienced and successful manufacturers of the in-pit crushing systems with mobile and semi-mobile crushing plants, mobile transfer conveyors, belt conveyor systems and spreader with tripper cars.

Latest milestone in open pit mine equipment development was the first fully mobile crushing system of its kind, delivered to the YiminHe coal mine in China in 2007. The successful operation at YiminHe led to further orders for four fully mobile crushing systems for the Baiyinhua coal field in China.

In 2010 ThyssenKrupp Fördertechnik received the order for two fully mobile crushing systems, each equipped with a double roll crusher, for overburden handling in an iron ore open pit mine in Brazil.

Mobile and semimobile crushing plants have been built by Thyssenkrupp Foerdertechnik since 50 years. It started with small machines in the range of some 100 tons per hour capacity and nowadays the largest semimobile plants reach up to 14,000 t/h. For an overview of the plants delivered so far all over the world please refer to the attached reference list.
